Grand Opening of Beatty Museum

Beatty Museum Opening

On December 31, 1996 at 2 p.m. in the afternoon, The Beatty Museum and Historical Society conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the Beatty Museum at 401 Main Street. Kim Hickenbotham cut the ribbon and Pastor Jeff Taguchi offered the dedication. Several local residents as well as the Officers and board Members of BMHS were in attendance. Everyone enjoyed cake and coffee after the ceremony. The Beatty Museum is open Mon-Tues 1-4 p.m. Wed-Fri-Sat-Sun 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., or as the Museum volunteers say, "When the Frog Flag is Flying, We're Open." Come enjoy this new chapter in the history of the Bullfrog Mining District.
